Creating powerful brand moments that surprise and delight with thoughtful frictionless user experiences

What does the project require?

Skills

Craft

Understanding the brand and their customers. Analyse and absorb all information. Wether it starts with discovery workshops, UX audit, research or data analysis: a good discovery phase, often followed by a define phase is solid foundation for most projects.

Discovery

To translate insights into tangible experiences. Crafting web, app and wearable wireframes, as well as high and low fidelity prototypes, is wat brings design thinking to life. I’m experienced in both fast-paced iterative start-up projects and large-scale agile (scrum) sprints with complex design systems.

Context mapping

To see the bigger picture and pinpoint (unforeseen) opportunities and friction. By mapping out the whole experiences with all its touch points, I’m able to remove friction and identify new opportunities to enhance the user flow. I’m experienced in service blueprint, experience flow, ecosystem-mapping, complex information mapping and user flows.

Innovation

To create awe through innovation. Combining new technologies to create solutions that go beyond the expected is what makes memorable brand experiences. I’m experienced in digital technologies like conversational UI, AR, 3D configurators and AI. But also in hybrid and real-world technology like wearables, installations and connected products.

Brand strategy

To align brands with their goals, audiences and the user experiences they aim to create. This includes (brand) storytelling and concepting from an analytical and strategic perspective.

Process

The process should always fit the project, team and timeline. I can adapt to all sorts of processes, but in my experience the ones where we go from idea to solution with speed and iteration, are the processes that work best. This way, we can test solutions frequently and make adjustments accordingly. Better for the team, better for end users, better for results.

Meaningful experiences. Informed by data. Driven by user needs.

My experience ranges from agile projects with multidisciplinary teams and sprints to waterfall campaign projects. I also implement processes I’ve learned as a founder of 2 startups in apps and wearable tech.

In recent years, I’ve worked comfortably in both multidisciplinary teams and independently. I work thoroughly and clear, and have no trouble including neat documentation, rationales, presentations and briefs to clients and stakeholders.
